Email

Everything about the AiMail inbox: composing, organizing, rules, external accounts and migration.

Inbox basics

The AiMail inbox groups messages into threaded conversations and keeps Drafts, Sent and Outbox in sync across all your devices in real time. Attachments are previewed inline — PDF, Word and Excel files open in the built-in document viewer without downloading.

Threaded conversations

Replies and forwards are grouped so you always see the full context of a discussion.

Bulk actions

Select many messages to archive, move, label, mark or delete in one action.

Advanced search

Filter by sender, date range, attachment, folder or label — or just ask Iris in plain language.

Risk detection

Suspicious senders, malicious URLs and phishing patterns are flagged automatically before you click.

Composing and sending

The composer is a rich-text editor with formatting, inline images, link previews and per-identity signatures. Iris can draft the entire message from a one-line instruction, or refine what you have written.

  1. 1

    Open the composer

Click Compose, or tell Iris: "compose an email to <name>".

  2. 2

    Write or generate

Type normally, or use the AI panel to generate a draft, change the tone or shorten the text.

  3. 3

    Add recipients and review

Recipient suggestions come from your contact history. Tracking and read receipts can be toggled per message.

  4. 4

    Send or schedule

Send immediately, or schedule the message — it waits in the Outbox until the chosen time.

Rules and filters

Mail rules run on the server, so they apply no matter which device receives the message. Combine conditions (sender, subject, keywords, has-attachment) with actions (move, label, forward, mark read, notify).

External accounts (Gmail, Outlook, IMAP)

AiMail manages external mailboxes alongside your Aiinak address. Gmail and Outlook connect with one-click OAuth; any other provider can be added with IMAP/SMTP credentials.

Migrating from another provider

The Email Migration tool imports your full history — folders, labels and attachments — from an existing account into AiMail. Migration runs in the background; you can keep working while it completes.

  1. 1

    Open Settings → Migration

Choose the source provider and authenticate.

  2. 2

    Select folders

Import everything, or pick specific folders and date ranges.

  3. 3

    Start and monitor

Progress is shown per folder. You are notified when the import finishes.
