Finance, News & Images
Specialized search modes: live financial data via Alpha Vantage, current-events news search and aggregated image search.
Finance search
Finance queries are routed to dedicated finance APIs, with stock prices supplied by Alpha Vantage. Ask about a ticker or a public company and you get live market data woven into the AI answer — and because companies are entities, financial data also enriches their knowledge graph profiles.
You can ask in plain language — "how is AAPL doing today" works as well as a bare ticker symbol. AI Search recognizes the financial intent and routes the query accordingly.
News search
News search pulls recent articles from connected news APIs and synthesizes them into a current-events answer with publication dates and outlets visible. It is the right mode when recency matters more than encyclopedic depth — breaking stories, announcements and developing situations.
Early reporting on breaking stories often conflicts. Run key claims through Fact-Checking to see which assertions multiple independent outlets actually agree on.
Image search
Image search aggregates results from four providers in one grid, so a single query covers both curated stock libraries and broad web imagery.
| Provider | Strength |
|---|---|
| Unsplash | High-quality curated photography |
| Pixabay | Broad free stock photos and illustrations |
| Pexels | Curated stock photos and videos |
| Brave Images | Wide web image coverage beyond stock libraries |
Each result links back to its provider page, where you can confirm the license terms before using an image.
